A Swimwear Designers Story

My love for bikinis swimwear, thong swimwear, g-string swimwear, Lycra /Spandex fetish wear and the pleasure I derive from them.

How I started wearing and became so extreme in my swimwear ideas. This will be a multi part story included in up-coming Koala newsletters.

Part One: I am very lucky to work in a business that the swimwear product we design and sell to our customers gives me so much personal pleasure.I think the first time I really discovered Lycra swimwear was as a kid. I am  from LA and the only swimwear we would wear as kids were boxer-style suits. A Neighbor of our family worked in the fashion industry and came over to swim One day with his family. To everyone’s amazement he was wearing a bikini swimsuit smaller then a Speedo, this was in the 80’s and we were all blown away. I don’think any of us had ever seen anything like it. He was a very handsome man and was totally at ease with his body. My sisters thought he looked hot my parents did not seem to mind after the initial shock. I was not sure what I thought about it, but there was something about that type of swimwear that aroused my interest. I asked him a few questions about the suit and why he wore this style, he told me that he liked the tan line and the way it showed off his body along with the way if fit and how the fabric felt against his skin. He told me this type of swimwear was popular in Europe and asked if I liked it. Being a teenager I was not’t sure what to say, but I think he realized I was starring at it and was keenly interested. He said he had a few more at home and told me to come by in the afternoon and he would give me one. I was nervous about being seen wearing swimwear so small but excited at the same time. I came by and he and his wife pulled out a few suits and told me to try them on. They both watched as I tried on the different bikini swimwear styles. Even though I was shy, for some reason being naked in front of this very good-looking couple seemed natural to me. They then called their daughter in to give her opinion as to which swimsuit looked best. They all thought the blue bikini looked the best. I was amazed at how sensual it felt—although I’m not sure I knew exactly what that meant at the time—and how naughty I felt wearing it. My older sister would wear the smallest string bikini swimwear designs of the time and I remember trying them on before. I loved how they looked but they were not designed for a guy and offered little room for my equipment. My new blue suit was my first bikini and it felt as if it was painted on my teenage body. It still gives me tingles today when I think back to how I felt that first time wearing these exciting new swimwear designs. Looking back at that day from my perspective now I realize how surreal and erotic that experience was for me.This was my first bikini suit and I was so enthralled with wearing it that it literally changed my life. That was the start of my love affair with Lycra and my path into

becoming a swimwear designer.
